“Matching skills with vacancies for the organisation of sustainable VET” – SvOS VET project stipulates establishing a Partnership of 5 partnering organizations from 5 different countries all working in the sphere of VET. The topic of the project is: “Integration of skills needs of the labour market into VET”. The advantage of the current partnership is that it forms a diverse network for collaboration between institutions and organisations.
The goal of the project is to explore the topic of integration of skills needs of the labour market into VET, identify problems in the partner countries and draw conclusions and develop the content of a methodology that will contribute to transforming VET into sustainable way of lifelong learning that is closely related to the demands of the contemporary labour market. The methodology will be applicable on a European level. Thus people of all ages in the five participating and other European countries will benefit from the outcomes of the project.

This project is considered part of a larger programme since the intention of the partners is that the results from its implementation, i.e. the developed methodology will be the essence of another bigger project proposal which will be submitted under another call for proposal.
